Mike Ulrich
Oil Painter
My love for art began at a very young age. I would study a drawing or a painting and wondered how you could put something so unique together. As I grew older, that fascination brought me to studying famous classical oil painters, my favorite being the Danish landscape artist Peder Mork Monsted. He painted landscapes, portraits, as well as still lifes. His paintings have inspired me to better my own work. In 2014 a dear friend passed away and I was gifted all of her art supplies, everything you would need to start painting oils. I started painting in my spare time, but after retiring and more time on my hands, I got serious. Now I find myself a part of Gallery 9 and love being able to share a God given talent with others who also love the Arts.

Sherri Payne
Wood Turner
After a 26-year career as a registered architect, I have transitioned from designing structures to exploring the intimate beauty of wood. Since 2015, I have honed my craft through woodturning—a practice that has become a gateway to wood carving, acrylics, airbrushing, and pyrography. I have been fortunate to meet many talented artists at the local wood turning and carving clubs.  These individuals helped teach me and inspire me along the way. I am thrilled to join Gallery Nine, where I look forward to connecting with fellow artists and enthusiasts who share a passion for creative expression.

Karis Loos
Painter
I like to share the joy of creativity,  expressed through color, shape, and movement, evoking a spectrum of mood, and perhaps, fascinating memories.

Mike Holmquist
Watercolor Painter
I do watercolor painting and I would say, my style is modern and interpretive.
