ARTIST STATEMENT
For over 14 years, I have immersed myself in the art of woodturning and carving, constantly seeking to refine my technique and mastery of the craft. My process is one of discovery; there is a unique joy in uncovering the organic surprises hidden beneath the bark. I love the challenge of thinking in 3D and trying to visualize complex, fluid forms within a raw block of timber. Whether I am crafting a delicate vase or a functional bowl, I am driven by the spirit of transformation—rescuing discarded wood and giving it a second chance as a refined work of art. I am honored to join this gallery, where I look forward to learning from fellow artists and connecting with patrons who share a deep appreciation for the handmade.
